Position 1: Resource Coordination Assistant U.S Embassy

Duties

  • The Resource Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Public Affairs Officer (or PAO designee); and has no supervisory duty. Is the main USAU Public Diplomacy LE Staff responsible for the monetary, program, human and property sources that assist Public Diplomacy (PD) tasks and packages with the U.S. Mission to the African Union and increasing throughout Africa. Oversees use of a number of and numerous funding streams, and ensures their compliance with all related USG rules and host-country legal guidelines. Manages grants, contracts, and acquisition and use of PD Section supplies and tools. Serves as main liaison for the PD Section with the Management Section and places of work, and coordinates useful resource necessities with regional PD bureaus.

Qualifications and Evaluations

EXPERIENCE:- A minimum of three years of progressively responsible expertise in a major group in budget, accounting, enterprise administration, monetary administration, organizational administration, public administration, challenge administration, or grants administration work is required.

Education:– A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Organizational Management, Accounting, or Public Administration is required.

Position 2: Maintenance Mechanic (Generator Mechanics (NEC)

Duties

  • The incumbent reports to the Electrical Controls Technician. The incumbent is employed because the Maintenance Mechanic – Generator to hold out expert upkeep and restore work on prime and stand-by emergency mills for the New Embassy Compound (NEC)and residential-owned/leased properties. Responds to scheduled, unscheduled and preventive upkeep work orders generated by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Qualifications and Evaluations

EXPERIENCE: A minimal of three (3) years expertise in the operation, upkeep, and restore of prime or standby energy mills for giant industrial properties resembling high-rise workplace buildings, a hospital or faculty campus, or for the native utility firm is required. One 12 months of which needs to be within the operations, upkeep, and restore of 1000 KVA or bigger mills.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of the training program from an accredited institute recognized as producing energy generation diesel engine mechanics is required.
