VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is an Institution established in response to proclamation No. 40/96 to offer monetary providers to the productive poor within the rural and concrete areas of Ethiopia. VisionFund is presently working in 4 of the Regional States of the nation.

Position: Branch Manager “D” VisionFund

Major Responsibilities Manages overall portfolio growth and portfolio high quality 

•  Ensures verification of existence of shoppers and credit score worthiness of their enterprise
• Chairs the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and participates in evaluating, approving, or rejecting loans in response to the extent of discretion;
•  Ensure saving deposit and withdrawals in accordance to the insurance policies
• Manages, coordinates and supervise department workers and ensures environment friendly supply of service supply operations.
• Coordinate and supervise the operation of the department,
• Plans personnel capability, choosing new workers, undertakes truthful & equitable HRM and evaluating current workers in accordance with administration choices;
• Supervises economical use of fabric assets (Generator, Motorcycles & Vehicles) ensures identical are serviced on time & as scheduled.
•  Ensures that the department workers preserve very excessive morale, identifies capability constructing wants and ensures satisfactory and up to date coaching is supplied;
•  Undertakes annual efficiency value determinations and workers growth plans.
• Manages the department and ensures compliance with all insurance policies and procedures
• Implements insurance policies, procedures and inner controls on the department
• Decides on all operational & monetary points inside the framework of current laws and administration choices;

Reporting and communication 

• Performs unbiased balancing of all data;
• Works with different administration members of the MFI;
• Attends quarterly department supervisor’s conferences, engages in staff downside fixing, works collectively on overlapping duties.

Planning & Integration

• Develops the branch business plan and annual work plans and seeks approval from the SMT on the projected targets and required assets;
•  Adjusts the plan as and when wanted

Marketing 

• Promotes loans, saving and any other services supplied by the Branch
• Plans and initiates promotional measures within the goal markets of the department;

Qualification and Technical Skill Required 

• University Degree/Diploma in Economics, Accounting, Business administration, Management, Banking, Marketing, Cooperative, Agricultural economics, Agriculture or related social sciences and business fields;
• Related expertise of four years for Degree and 6 years for Diploma
• Determined persona with initiative, perseverance and the flexibility to inspire and handle a staff
• Capability and willingness to take accountability and extremely developed sense of rectitude
• Ready to conform and stay as much as and in accordance with the group Ideals and Core Values
• Be proficient in Microsoft workplace functions
• Able to plan and handle funds, together with a fundamental understanding of accounting.
• Be a very good coach, facilitator, mentor, and coach
• Very good communication and advertising and marketing abilities
• Motor cycle driving ability and License.
